TLDR: It’s all ‘cuz of MONEY. Money is the root of all EVIL. Probably why P.’s resorted to his old ways… Enjoy the house I guess.

Age Verification... Did we mess up somewhere?

Age Verification is… wait.

It’s literally the same fucking script as like… everything else. Holy fucking shit.

WOW. Oh my GOD. IT’S THE SAME FUCKING SCRIPT?

What is Age Verification for?

Well, long story short, money. Long story long? Well, most companies rely on selling data to make money. For example, let’s take a look at Meta.

Meta makes billions off of selling data. However, Meta’s just encountered a problem. They’re unable to sell data for high prices! Why? Because their data’s authenticity can’t be verified! To continue making money off of user data, Meta needs to find a quick way to solve this dilemma… Yes. Lobbying the government.

Privacy Matters: Fix It!

You know what pisses me off more than having to update my system?

People who don’t care about their privacy.

Let’s first define ‘Privacy’.

The definition of privacy is: “The state of being free from public attention or unsanctioned intrusion.” This essentially means, in plain text, being free of watching eyes. If I asked 50 people in a room if they would like to be watched while they showered, most, if not all, would say no. A big tech corporation, such as Google, will always be watching.

Xyphen Fileshare. What is it?

What is Xyphen Fileshare?

Xyphen Fileshare, in its barest of descriptions, is just a fileshare. That’s all it does, point a link to a file.

We run a public instance so anyone can use it out of the box, but you are never restricted to our servers. Xyphen Fileshare is built for self-hosting. Admins and developers can clone the repository, tweak the code to their liking, host it for their own private network, or just fork it. Hell, do whatever you want with it. There’s no personal gain or profit motive here, it was built for the people, and that’s what open source is all about.
